About Our Local Office

Teresa Marchese is the owner of the Right at Home office in South Orange County. Teresa is a native of California, though she has lived in other countries including Spain and Mexico. Teresa is bilingual, and holds a Master's Degree in International Business. She worked for many years as a business consultant and has traveled extensively in the Caribbean and Central America.

Teresa left the business world in favor of opening the Right at Home office in South Orange County because she felt a desire to become a more integral part of her community. "I wanted to do something positive for the community. After seeing my parents care for my grandparents, and later my aunt, who was the primary caregiver for my uncle throughout his fight with Alzheimer's disease, I realized that there is a very real need for assistance with care giving. Not all families are able to put things on hold in order to care for a loved one that needs some extra help in order to remain at home".

We understand the dilemma created by dual-career households with busy children's schedules and the fast-paced Southern California lifestyle. We have caring and compassionate caregivers that are trained to step in and help out with activities such as light housekeeping and healthy meal preparation as well as shopping and errands. Light exercise and medication reminders are also available, along with a full range of personal care services. Each and every visit involves genuine companionship that eases loneliness and depression. The services are available from just a few hours a week to 24 hours per day, depending on the needs of the client. We make an in-home assessment and, together with the family, write a unique and individual plan of care for each client.
